Any autosampler that is used in the Clarity
Active Sequence without
an AS Control module
must be synchronized with the Clarity station by
cables. The IN

starting cable should be plugged
into the synchronization output (INJECTION)
of an autosampler and the OUT
n
R cable
plugged into the synchronization input
(READY) of an autosampler.

available in the Clarity User Guide.

Note: The labels on the input and output contacts may
vary depending on the type of the autosampler.
When using additional devices (Detectors, LC
Pumps, etc.) it is recommended to connect
these devices independently
to other digital
outputs of the A/D board. Each device will
then need a dedicated row in the Event table
to be started or stopped.
Note: When the detector or pump start inputs are
connected in paralel to the Clarity start input,
problems are often encountered due to instrument
grounding.
6.1.3 AS - Passive Sequence (GC or LC)
The autosampler used in the Clarity Passive
Sequence (both GC and LC sets) does not
